1/13/2023 0 Comments Batch file close program![]() What Can I do to trigger the macro through my Script?Īs I know this would trigger the macro automaticallyĪfter opening the Excel, solving my issue, But the problem is If i want to change something in my code later then first it would execute the macro and then would allow me to change the code, and I don't want that. If you check Task Manager, there is no path to the file, unfortunately. If the former, the batch procedure needs to execute an EXIT statement. How are you launching the batch file From a command line or from an explorer window If the later the window should close. What Taskill does is end the processes as if you were manually doing it through Task Manager (by ending the process in the Processes Tab). Since I would assume the Skype executable is at least a Win32 program, I find it peculiar that the window does not close. It does open the File but doesn't trigger my macro(DoBirthdayRoutine) Try it without the entire path to the file. Start "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\EXCEL.EXE" "C:\Users\rohitkap\Desktop\Rohit\Automatic Birthday mailer.xlsm" Please mark this post as answered if it answered your question.
